How long have you been photographing professionally?
Kevin Hays of Nexis Pro LLC has been a professional photographer since 1992 and in the recent years developing Fade To Blaq into a creative studio that blends artistry with technical precision. His experience spans weddings, portraits, real estate, and fine art landscapes.
What type of equipment do you use?
Kevin shoots with professional-grade Nikon cameras and a selection of high-quality lenses chosen for versatility, clarity, and creative control—delivering exceptional image quality and true-to-life color.
Do you offer both studio and on-location sessions?
Yes. Fade To Blaq offers both studio-based (special holiday sessions) and on-location sessions. Whether you prefer a controlled studio look or a natural outdoor ambiance, each shoot is tailored to your vision and comfort.
How long does it take to receive my photos?
Turnaround varies by session, but most clients receive edited, high-resolution images within 3 to 5 business days. Mini sessions and smaller shoots often have quicker delivery times. Weddings will usually take between 7-14 business days.
How are my photos delivered?
All final images are delivered through a private online gallery which is password protected, where you can download, share, and order prints if desired. Galleries are organized for both desktop and mobile viewing.
Do you help with posing and direction during the shoot?
Absolutely. Kevin's assitant provides gentle guidance and creative direction throughout each session to help you feel relaxed and natural—so your images reflect your true personality.
Do you provide the original unedited RAW image files?
The images in your gallery will be edited to improve lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color — all of which is a standard process for digital photographers. Therefore, I do not provide the unedited RAW images. By not providing the unedited RAW images I can preserve the quality of my work as the unedited RAW images are considered a "digital negative" and needs to be post-processed to bring each image to life.
Do you watermark your photographs?
Only the online photographs will have a watermark (Our Logo). These lower resolution photographs are meant to be shared on social media and not to be printed due to the low resolution. All the Hi-Res photographs will not have any watermarks or logos on them.
